Wrong aspect ratio in retro arch 1.7.5 / 1.7.6 for 320x200 Games - hamster3001 - 02-25-2019

Hi just wanted to migrate this thread:

The problem in short: the aspect ratio for games that use 320x200 (for example DOS Games (DosBox) or ScummVM) is apparently not calculated correctly anymore what causes the image not to expand to whole screen width. (It does expand but not far enough)

Here is the log output for a game where the problem occurs:

Refresh Rate: 60.000000


[libretro INFO] Resolution changed 640x400 => 320x200 [INFO] Environ SET_GEOMETRY. [INFO] SET_GEOMETRY: 320x200, aspect: 1.333. [INFO] Paused.

I believe I've located the issue and fixed it, just waiting for the PR to be merged.

The latest core has been updated. All should work now, download the latest core from the core updater.

Sorry for the stupid question but what core do you mean? I can download the latest cores from DosBox of ScummVM with the Core updater in MME4CRT Retroarch but still doesn't work, and there is also no new version of mm4crt on the windows download page, right?

Erm you'll need to down load the latest core from the core updater.

Yeah... but as is said: what do you mean with "the core"? the dosbox core, the scumm core, which core?
